The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Olivar (9-3) in Zaragoza on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Salou (8-4) 74-68. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Olivar. Salou forced 23 Olivar turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Artur Alaminos (202-91) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Equatorial Guinean power forward Oscar Ngomo (201-90) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Salou players scored in double figures. Guard Lucas Langarita (192-5) replied with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and center Aday Mara (220-5) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Olivar. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Salou have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group C-1, which they share with Valls. Olivar at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Tarragona and Castelldefels. Salou is looking forward to face Barbera (#12) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olivar will play on the road against Sant Cugat (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
