No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Asker Aliens (10-7) defeated at home bottom-ranked Nidaros Jets (1-18) 85-74 on Saturday. It was a great evening for guard Haakon Hellebust (196-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Roy Nwachukwu (196-90, college: Seminole St.) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Five Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Chris Carter (205-92, college: LIU Brooklyn) with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds and forward Mihajlo Krivokapic (198-99) scored 15 points. Asker Aliens moved-up to fifth place. Nidaros Jets lost their fourteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Asker Aliens will meet Tromso (#7) on the road in the next round. Nidaros Jets will play against Fyllingen BBK and hope to win that game.
