Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Legnano K. and 4th placed Langhe Roero had identical 8-5 record. This time Legnano K. used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Corneliano d'Alba 97-67 on Saturday night. Legnano K. outrebounded Langhe Roero 46-32 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Montenegrin Janko Cepic (203-99) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Diego Terenzi (193-95) accounted for 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four Legnano K. players scored in double figures. Point guard Andrea Danna (180-90) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Castellino Nicolo (190-2) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Langhe Roero in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Legnano K. (9-5) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Langhe Roero at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Legnano K. will meet at home Livorno Libertas (#8) in the next round. Langhe Roero will play against Livorno Pielle and hope to secure a win.
