There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Imola (9-5) lost at home to eighth ranked Senigallia (9-6) 68-60 on Sunday. Senigallia forced 20 Imola turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Lorenzo Varaschin (197-98, agency: BIG) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Marco Giacomini (182-94) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Forward Kevin Cusenza (200-93) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Tommaso Carnovali (196-93, agency: SLN) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Imola in the defeat.
