Regular Season Round 15: Montegranaro - Roseto 69-83
Date: January 16, 2022
Very predictable result when first ranked Roseto (13-1) won against on the road 16th ranked Montegranaro (1-14) 83-69 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Serbian Aleksa Nikolic (205-99) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Alberto Serafini (199-93, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. Roseto's coach Danilo Quaglia used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dario Masciarelli (195-98) came up with 26 points and 5 rebounds and Estonian Kirill Korsunov (201-0) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Montegranaro in the defeat. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Roseto. They maintain first place with 13-1 record. Montegranaro lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Roseto will meet at home Senigallia (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Montegranaro will play against Jesi (#13) and hope to win that game.
