Rather predictable result in Goteborg where seventh ranked Hammarby (5-8) beat 10th ranked Hogsbo 2 (2-8) 76-69 on Sunday. Hammarby forced 23 Hogsbo 2 turnovers. Oskar Rapp stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Aaron Kodu (197-2) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Hammarby players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman David Lindquist (192-4) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Herman Kihlman (198-4) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Hogsbo 2's coach Thomas Stansfield rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Hammarby moved-up to sixth place. Hogsbo 2 lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Kalmar 2. Hammarby will meet at home higher ranked Eskilstuna (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hogsbo 2 will play against KFUM Fry. 2 (#11) in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
