Second Stage Round 3: Triglav - Pozega 102-81

The game in Kranj supposed to be also worth to mention about. Croatian Pozega (3-5) played at the court of Slovenian Triglav (2-6). Triglav smashed Pozega 102-81. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Pozega was better in second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Triglav players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Pozega's players. It was a great evening for point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Center Lara Bubnic (190-99) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Triglav players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Jelena Ivezic (183-84) with 27 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and DR Congolese power forward La Mama Kapinga Maweja (194-97, agency: LBM Management) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Triglav will play against Badel (#8) in Skopje in the next round. Pozega will play at home against Buducnost where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
