Regular Season Round 18: Borisfen - Tsmoki-Minsk U20 80-60

Leader Borisfen delivered the sixteenth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Tsmoki-Minsk U20 (3-14) 80-60 in Mogilev. The game was mostly controlled by Borisfen. Tsmoki-Minsk U20 managed to win fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki-Minsk U20's 26. Borisfen forced 23 Tsmoki-Minsk U20 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American point guard Cornelius Taylor (183-96, college: FAU) scored 19 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Marcanvis Hymon (203-95, college: Ole Miss, agency: One Motive Sports) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Daniil Kosko (187-4) with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ivan Balduev (194-4) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Borisfen (16-1) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Tsmoki-Minsk U20 lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. Borisfen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki-Minsk U20 will play against Rubon (#3) and hope to secure a win.
