Serie A1 top team - Schio (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Moncalieri (3-11) 82-50. Schio made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 31 Moncalieri turnovers. American guard Diamond Deshields (185-95, college: Tennessee) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The former international power forward Jasmine Keys (192-97) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Schio players scored in double figures. Brazilian guard Taina Paixao (175-91) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sara Toffolo (180-0) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Moncalieri. Moncalieri's coach Paolo Terzolo gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Schio have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-0 record. Moncalieri lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Schio are looking forward to face Broni (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Moncalieri will play against San Martino and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
