Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Hapoel Haifa (7-6) defeated at home 10th ranked Galil Gilboa (5-10) 72-68 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was American guard Kadeem Allen (187-93, college: Arizona) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward James Dickey III (208-96, college: UNCG) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hapoel Haifa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was British-American power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones (212-98, college: NC State) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Tyus Battle (197-97, college: Syracuse) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Galil Gilboa's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hapoel Haifa moved-up to seventh place.
