The game between closely ranked teams ended with 15th ranked Ksiezak's (5-14) home loss to fourteenth ranked Dziki (7-12) in Lowicz 73-77 on Saturday. Dziki dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Ksiezak's 16. The winners were led by Rafal Komenda (200-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Piotr Pamula (195-90) supported him with 16 points. Four Dziki players scored in double figures. Dziki's coach Krzysztof Szablowski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by Piotr Robak (194-91) did not help to save the game for Ksiezak. Michal Jankowski (191-87, agency: Interperformances) added 20 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Dziki moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Pelplin. Ksiezak lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Dziki will meet at home higher ranked Kociewskie Diably (#9) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ksiezak will play against WKK Wroclaw (#8) and hope to secure a win.
