Regular Season Round 15: Burgos - Zamora 63-71

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Burgos (9-6) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Zamora (9-5) 71-63 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American-Puerto Rican guard Bobby Harris (185-91, college: AIC, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Ismael Tamba (201-1) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Five Zamora players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) with 4 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and American center Coreontae DeBerry (208-94, college: Cincinnati) scored 11 points. Burgos' coach Francis Tome rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Zamora moved-up to fourth place in Silver. Loser Burgos dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Zamora will meet Clavijo (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Burgos will play against Carbajosa (#14) and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
