Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Olesnica (6-12) was outscored by fifth ranked Katy Wroc. (13-5) in Katy Wroclawskie 99-62 on Saturday. Katy Wroc. made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Katy Wroc. outrebounded Olesnica 50-30 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Olesnica's players. It was an exceptional evening for Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Power forward Tomasz Giniewski (195-88) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Bartlomiej Rodak (180-96) came up with 10 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mateusz Gron (196-82) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Olesnica in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olesnica's coach Piotr Gliniak gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Katy Wroc. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Olesnica lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with AZS PCz and MKS Ochota. Katy Wroc. will meet Sudety (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olesnica will play against Gimbasket and hope to secure a win.
