Betclic ELITE ProA top team - Metropolitans (13-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked SIG Strasbourg (9-6) in Levallois 85-80. Metropolitans made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by SIG Strasbourg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Vincent Hunter (203-94, college: UTEP) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Will Cummings (188-92, college: Temple) chipped in 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Metropolitans' coach Vincent Collet used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard DeAndre Lansdowne (188-89, college: Fort Lewis, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jean-Baptiste Maille (190-93) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four SIG Strasbourg players scored in double figures. Metropolitans maintains first place with 13-3 record. SIG Strasbourg at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Nanterre. Metropolitans are looking forward to face league's second-placed Monaco on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SIG Strasbourg will play against Le Portel (#18) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
