Regular Season Round 15: Lommel - LDP Donza 73-70

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Top Division I took place in Lommel. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked LDP Donza (6-4) to first ranked Lommel (9-3) 73-70 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of LDP Donza. It was a good game for center Toon Ceyssens (205-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Matts De Keuster (-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Lommel's coach Ronnie McCollum used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Rik Van den Berghe (206-93) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Landon Unruh (-97) added 18 points in the effort for LDP Donza. Lommel maintains first place with 9-3 record. LDP Donza at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Lommel are looking forward to face Gent Hawks (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LDP Donza will play against Ieper (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
