Very expected game when 14th ranked Leioa (4-14) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Mondragon (12-6) 85-79 on Saturday. Mondragon made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Alex Ramon (186-93, college: Colgate) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Daniel Lorenzo (181-93) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Mondragon players scored in double figures. Guard Joseba Estalayo (188-96) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and Juan Torres (198-92) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
