The game between Top Four teams took place in Trondheim. 4th ranked host Midtbyen (6-6) was smashed by top-ranked Ulriken (14-0) 96-49. Ulriken dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Midtbyen's 32. Ulriken forced 21 Midtbyen turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Midtbyen's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Terae Briggs (190-97, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Stine Austgulen (180-94, college: Colorado St.) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five Ulriken players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Kari Kyrkjebo (188-1, college: UC Riverside) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ulrikke Bentsen (182-99) scored 11 points. Midtbyen's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Ulriken have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Newly promoted Midtbyen keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Ulriken's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bergen Bergen.
