There was an upset when higher ranked Zentro Basket (4-9) was crushed on the road by thirteenth ranked Valencia 2 (3-10) 108-61 on Saturday. Valencia 2 made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Zentro Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Zentro Basket's players. It was a great evening for guard Millan Jimenez (196-2) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Alejandro Bellver (194-2) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Valencia 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Gambian power forward Musa Sagnia (201-3) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and Senegalese center Pape Bocar Sall (211-1) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Valencia 2 maintains thirteenth place in Silver with 3-10 record. Zentro Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Valencia 2 will meet higher ranked Gran Canaria 2 (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zentro Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Real Canoe.
