Very expected game in Fos-sur-Mer where 16th ranked Provence Basket (5-12) was defeated by sixth ranked Le Mans (10-6) 66-57 on Saturday. Le Mans forced 20 Provence Basket turnovers. The best player for the winners was Kosovan-American Scott Bamforth (188-89, college: Weber St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored 14 points and 4 assists. The former international guard Terry Tarpey (195-94, college: William & Mary) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Le Mans' coach Elric Delord used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: UConn) produced 21 points and 6 steals and center Bodian Massa (205-97) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
