There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Leganes (5-10) was rolled over at home by fourteenth ranked Ensino (5-11) 75-49 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was power forward Laura Aliaga (182-94) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. Dutch guard Natalie Van Den Adel (185-90, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ensino players scored in double figures. Ensino's coach Miguel Angel Ortega felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Nigerian forward Amy Okonkwo (188-96, college: TCU) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and Danish forward Maria Jespersen (183-94, college: S.Florida) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Ensino moved-up to twelfth place. Leganes lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Ensino will meet at home higher ranked Cadi La Seu (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Leganes will play against Araski (#10) in Vitoria-Gasteiz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
