Very expected game in San Cristobal where 16th ranked Clarinos (3-12) was edged by eighth ranked Estudiantes (8-7) 63-60 on Sunday. Estudiantes made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Nadia Fingall (191-98, college: Stanford) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Arica Carter (173-96, college: Louisville) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Theresa Plaisance (196-92, college: LSU) who recorded 20 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian-Hungarian forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-90) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Clarinos' coach Claudio Garcia rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Estudiantes have a solid three-game winning streak.
