Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Claret (0-18) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Leon (11-5) 107-44 on Sunday. Leon dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Claret's 30. Leon forced 22 Claret turnovers and outrebounded them 53-23 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Claret's players. The best player for the winners was Rodrigo Llamas (191-1) who scored 22 points. Diego Bulto (188-2) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Leon players scored in double figures. Leon's coach Luis Castillo felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mali Oumar Drame (199-99) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and Kevin Cano added 8 points respectively for the guests. Leon maintains fifth place in Group A-B with 11-5 record. Newly promoted Claret still closes the standings with 18 games lost.
