Rather predictable result when seventh ranked E.Netanya (8-7) defeated on the road 10th ranked M.Raanana (6-10) 91-81 on Tuesday. E.Netanya dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to M.Raanana's 38. Strangely M.Raanana outrebounded E.Netanya 41-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward DeSean Parsons (201-95, college: Portland St.) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Roy Paretsky (193-2) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Jason Siggers (194-85, college: Albany, agency: Avi Zilberman) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international Raviv Limonad (191-84) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Four E.Netanya and five M.Raanana players scored in double figures. E.Netanya moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Afula. Loser M.Raanana dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. E.Netanya will meet at home M.Ashdod (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Raanana will play against E.Kiryat Ata and hope to secure a win.
