Regular Season Round 27: Nassjo - Koping Stars 92-71

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Koping Stars (6-18) were crushed on the road by sixth ranked Nassjo (10-11) 92-71. It was a good game for guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 4 assists. American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Nassjo's coach Joakim Kallman felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Liam O'Reilly (188-96, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 21 points and 6 assists and the other American import Evan McGaughey (203-94, college: Quincy, agency: Slash Sports) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Koping Stars. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Nassjo maintains sixth place with 10-11 record. Koping Stars lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 18 games lost. Nassjo will play against higher ranked Boras Basket (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Koping Stars will have a break next round.
