The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-85. Peli-Karhut outrebounded Vimpelin Veto 46-32 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Zykera Rice (185-96, college: Gonzaga) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
