Regular Season Round 15: Scrivia - Torino 70-44

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Torino (0-12) was rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Scrivia (10-3) 70-44 on Saturday. Scrivia dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Torino's 22. The best player for the winners was power forward Giulia Rulli (183-91) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Ada De Pasquale (178-95) chipped in 21 points. Scrivia's coach Francesca Zara felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Agnese Bevolo (175-2) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds and center Clara Salvini (180-92) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Scrivia maintains fourth place in A2 with 10-3 record. Newly promoted Torino still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Scrivia will meet Treviso (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Torino will play against the league's leader Crema and hopes to get finally their first victory.
