No shocking result in a game in Lugo where fifth ranked Cadi La Seu (11-6) defeated 11th ranked Ensino (5-12) 67-58 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international Irati Etxarri (187-98) who led her team to a victory scoring 11 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Laura Pena (173-98) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American center Chatrice White (190-96, college: FSU) responded with 14 points and forward Helena Oma (180-96) scored 9 points. Ensino's coach Miguel Angel Ortega tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cadi La Seu maintains fifth place with 11-6 record. Loser Ensino dropped to the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Cadi La Seu will meet at home Araski (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ensino will play against Gran Canaria in Las Palmas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
