It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Apollon P.'s pressure prevailed and they won that period 30-21 extending their advantage to 14 points. The former international Georgios Tsalmpouris (216-96, college: Iowa St.) scored 30 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian guard Elijah Mitrou-Long (185-96, college: UNLV, agency: Network Sports International) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international center Kostas Gontikas (206-94, college: New York U.) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Apollon P. and four Ionikos players scored in double figures. Ionikos' coach Curro Segura rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Apollon P. moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Lavrio. Ionikos lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. Apollon P. will meet at home Lavrio (#9) in the next round. Ionikos will play against Kolossos HH (#4) and hope to secure a win.
