Undefeated leader ASVEL delivered the fifteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 12th ranked Strasbourg (6-10) 101-70 in Villeurbanne. ASVEL forced 23 Strasbourg turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Gambian center Babacar Mbye (212-2) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (200-1) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four ASVEL players scored in double figures. Pedro Bengui (203-1) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and William Beugre-Kassi (198-4) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Strasbourg. Strasbourg's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. ASVEL (15-0) have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row.
