Regular Season Round 16: Sloga Uppsala - Jamtland 2 102-87

Very expected game when 11th ranked Jamtland 2 (2-11) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Sloga Uppsala (10-4) 102-87 on Saturday. Sloga Uppsala dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Jamtland 2's 38. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and naturalized Serbian guard Stefan Zivkovic (185-93) who added 18 points during the contest. Four Sloga Uppsala players scored in double figures. At the losing side Max Vall responded with 42 points (!!!) and point guard Johan Petersen (176-99) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Sloga Uppsala moved-up to third place. Jamtland 2 lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Kalmar 2 and Hogsbo 2. Sloga Uppsala will meet AIK 2 (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Jamtland 2 will play against RIG Lulea and hope to secure a win.
