Leading Sant Antoni (12-3) recorded its third loss in San Antonio. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked Cornella (9-7) 76-70. Cornella outrebounded Sant Antoni 39-25 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Isaac Mayo (195-1, agency: Global Sports Basketball) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and center Eduard Arques (202-94) who added 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Cornella players scored in double figures. Cornella's coach Mateo Rubio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Jordi Grimau (196-83) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Pau Carreno (192-1) scored 14 points. Cornella moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Newly promoted Sant Antoni dropped to the second position with three games lost. Cornella will play against league's leader Benicarlo in Castellon in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sant Antoni will play on the road against Albacete and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
