Regular Season Round 19: Llucmajor - Mataro AE Parc 76-62

There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Mataro Parc (6-8) lost on the road to seventh ranked Llucmajor (6-7) 76-62 on Saturday. Llucmajor looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Andreu Adrover (184-95) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Power forward Jose Maria Morales (204-89) accounted for 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side. Four Llucmajor players scored in double figures. Center Ferran Llorens (199-2) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Miki Fons (185-98) added 12 points respectively for Mataro Parc in the defeat. Mataro Parc's coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Llucmajor moved-up to fifth place in Group C-2, which they share with Joventut 2. Loser Mataro Parc dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Llucmajor will meet Martorell (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mataro Parc will play against the league's second-placed Alfinden in Zaragoza and hope to secure a win.
