No shocking result in a game when first ranked Tarragona (12-3) crushed 12th ranked UE Horta (3-12) in Barcelona 72-52 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Marc Buscail (-3) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. American Orion Outerbridge (206-88, college: URI, agency: BIG) accounted for 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Quim Sanchez (-0) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Alfons Pilan (-99) added 15 points respectively for UE Horta in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tarragona have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group C-1 with 12-3 record. Newly promoted UE Horta keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Tarragona will meet at home Valls (#5) in the next round. UE Horta will play against Olivar (#3) in Zaragoza and hope to secure a win.
