Very expected game in Helsinki where 8th ranked Forssan Alku (6-12) was defeated by second ranked Torpan Pojat (12-6) 78-61. The game without a history. Torpan Pojat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Torpan Pojat outrebounded Forssan Alku 55-33 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Erika Davenport (182, college: Marquette) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier) accounted for 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Roosa Kosonen (183-0) came up with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Davida Dale (180-97, college: URI) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Forssan Alku in the defeat.
