Sixth-ranked Nassjo (12-12) gave a tough game to second ranked KFUM Jamtland (18-5) on Sunday. The visitors from Ostersund managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Nassjo. Strangely Nassjo outrebounded KFUM Jamtland 37-0 including a 30- advantage in defensive rebounds. Canadian-Nigerian guard Keith Omoerah (194-92, college: Manitoba, agency: BIG) stepped up and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and naturalized American power forward RT Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Keenan Gumbs (196-96, college: Liberty) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. KFUM Jamtland maintains second place with 18-5 record having four points less than leader Norrkoping. Nassjo at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. KFUM Jamtland are looking forward to face Boras Basket (#5) at home in the next round. Nassjo will play against the league's leader Norrkoping Dolphins and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
