Very expected game when 14th ranked M.Ashdod (4-11) lost at home to seventh ranked M.Haifa (10-7) 77-73 on Sunday. The winners were led by the former international power forward Daniel Koperberg (208-97) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Ghanian guard Chris Smith (188-87, college: Louisville) supported him with 8 points and 8 rebounds.
