Regular Season Round 19: Levallois - Le Mans 82-69

An interesting game for Metropolitans (15-3) which hosted in Levallois 4th placed Le Mans (11-7). First ranked Metropolitans managed to get a 13-point victory 82-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Le Mans. Worth to mention a great performance of American Keith Hornsby (192-92, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center TaShawn Thomas (203-93, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Terry Tarpey (195-94, college: William & Mary) added 12 points in the effort for Le Mans. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Metropolitans have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-3 record. Le Mans at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Metropolitans are looking forward to face JDA Dijon (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Le Mans will play against Chalons-Reims and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
