The game in Kopavogur was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Tindastoll (7-8) played at the court of eighth ranked Breidablik (7-9). Breidablik managed to secure a 9-point victory 107-98 on Monday. The game without a history. Breidablik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Breidablik forced 21 Tindastoll turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Coastal) who helped to win the game recording 44 points (!!!) and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Hilmar Petursson (190-0) who added 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Sigtryggur Bjornsson (180-93, college: St.Mary's, agency: Duran International) responded with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Croatian power forward Zoran Vrkic (203-87, agency: SDJ Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Breidablik and five Tindastoll players scored in double figures. Breidablik have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Breidablik went down to ninth position due to points difference, which they share with IR. Tindastoll lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with eight games lost. Breidablik will meet league's leader Thor Thorl in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tindastoll will play against Vestri (#11) in Isafjordur and hope to secure a win.
