The game in Petah Tikva supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Ashdod (12-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Petah Tikva (5-9). Ashdod smashed Petah Tikva 90-63 on Monday. Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Petah Tikva's 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Petah Tikva's players. American guard Victoria Vivians (185-94, college: MSU) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and international power forward Alexandra Cohen (196-93, college: Northwestern) supported her with 24 points and 5 blocks (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Ashdod players scored in double figures. Ashdod's coach Adan Inbar felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) did not help to save the game for Petah Tikva. Her fellow American import guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ashdod have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-5 record behind leader M.Haifa. Loser Petah Tikva keeps the seventh place with nine games lost.
