There was no surprise in Uusikaupunki where 12th ranked Korihait (3-19) was defeated by seventh ranked Nokia (11-11) 77-72. Korihait was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 26-15 third quarter run of Nokia. It was a good game for Puerto Rican power forward Arnaldo Toro (203-97, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Max Besselink (202-2) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Jalen Jackson (198-94, college: UALR) replied with 26 points and his fellow American import forward Mitchell Smith (208-97, college: Missouri) added 16 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Korihait. Nokia maintains seventh position with 11-11 record. Korihait lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.
