Regular Season Round 23: Zastal - Spojnia 106-64

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Enea Zastal (16-8) outplayed 11th ranked Spojnia (9-12) in Zielona Gora 106-64 on Tuesday. Enea Zastal dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Spojnia's 38. They outrebounded Spojnia 49-20 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Enea Zastal looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Spojnia's players. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian guard Nemanja Nenadic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international power forward Krzysztof Sulima (202-90, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Five Enea Zastal players scored in double figures. Forward Kacper Mlynarski (202-92) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American center Baylee Steele (213-97, college: Duquesne, agency: One Motive Sports) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Spojnia in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Enea Zastal have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Spojnia lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Enea Zastal will meet GTK (#15) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Spojnia will play against GTK (#15) and hope to secure a win.
