We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Almansa (9-12) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Valladolid (9-11) 84-70 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Swedish point guard Melwin Pantzar (193-2000) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Alec Wintering (183-1995, college: Portland) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. Five Valladolid players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Greek-Australian center Ioannis Dimakopoulos (218-1994, college: UC Irvine) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and American Jalen Nesbitt (198-1993, college: UNF, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points respectively.
