Regular Season Round 22: M.Raanana - H.Ramat Gan 87-70

Rather expected game when 12th ranked H.Ramat Gan (5-12) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked M.Raanana (9-10) 87-70 on Saturday. M.Raanana made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Jason Siggers (194-1985, college: Albany, agency: Avi Zilberman) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Brandon Sherrod (198-1992, college: Yale) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. M.Raanana's coach Yossi Bonen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and guard Efi Tyomkin (190-2000) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. M.Raanana have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. H.Ramat Gan lost fifth consecutive game.
