Regular Season Round 20: Vic - Navas 58-67

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Vic (10-6) lost at home to sixth ranked Navas (9-5) 67-58 on Saturday. The winners were led by Nil Bria (195-97) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds and David Yuste (-94) supported him with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Navas players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by guard Jordi Iglesias (180-97) did not help to save the game for Vic. Jordi Pujolreu (197-96) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Navas maintains sixth position in Group C-3 with 9-5 record. Loser Vic dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. Navas will meet at home higher ranked Girona B (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vic will play against Azulejos in Zaragoza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
