The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked Murcia 2's (12-4) home victory over one of their biggest challengers Picken Claret (9-8) 79-71 on Saturday. The winners were led by Danish point guard Noah Sorensen (194-3) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 assists and Turkish forward Hamza Mestoglu (201-4) supported him with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Joan Gomez (195-98) did not help to save the game for Picken Claret. Swingman Inigo De La Iglesia (190-95) added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Five Murcia 2 and four Picken Claret players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Murcia 2 have an impressive six-game winning streak.
