We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tromdheim where 9th ranked Centrum (2-19) was defeated by tenth ranked Nidaros Jets (3-20) 69-62 on Saturday. Nidaros Jets made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American power forward Chris Carter (205-92, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Mikkel Aarnes (184-0) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Nidaros Jets' coach Thor Overmo used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Giorgos Kotrotsios (-99) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Simon Midtvedt (180-96) scored 15 points. Nidaros Jets moved-up to ninth place. Centrum lost thirteenth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. Nidaros Jets will meet higher ranked Tromso (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Centrum will play against the league's leader Froya Basket where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
