Regular Season Round 20: Dijon - Levallois 93-74

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Metropolitans (15-4) on the court of seventh ranked JDA Dijon on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by JDA Dijon 93-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Metropolitans. They outrebounded Metropolitans 37-26 including 23 on the defensive glass. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard David Holston (173-86, college: Chicago St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 assists and naturalized Chadian power forward Jacques Alingue (203-88) who added 8 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Vincent Hunter (203-94, college: UTEP) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import point guard Will Cummings (188-92, college: Temple) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Four Metropolitans players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JDA Dijon (11-8) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Metropolitans at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. JDA Dijon is looking forward to face Chorale de Roanne (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Metropolitans will play against the league's second-placed ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
