Regular Season Round 20: SESE - Barbera 80-68

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Barbera (3-11) lost to seventh ranked SESE (7-8) in Barcelona 68-80 on Saturday. The winners were led by Xavier Guirao who scored that evening 21 points and forward Adria Codinachs (198-1) supported him with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Even 17 points by forward Miquel Segarra (200-0) did not help to save the game for Barbera. Center Hernan Olaguibe (203-86) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. SESE have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group C-1. Loser Barbera keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. SESE will meet higher ranked Castelldefels (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Barbera will play against the league's leader Tarragona (#1) and hope to secure a win.
