Regular Season Round 14: Midtbyen - Hoybraten 94-38

Bottom-ranked Hoybraten is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 13th consecutive match to fourth ranked Midtbyen (7-7) 94-38 on Saturday evening. Midtbyen held Hoybraten to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Midtbyen forced 26 Hoybraten turnovers and outrebounded them 51-34 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Midtbyen's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ariam Germeskel replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Frida Strom added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hoybraten. Newly promoted Midtbyen maintains fourth position with 7-7 record. Hoybraten at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Midtbyen are looking forward to face Storm U. (#7) in Tromso in the next round. Hoybraten will play on the road against the league's second-placed Baerum in Sandvika and hopes to get finally their first victory.
