Everything went according to plan in Palanga where ninth ranked Lithuanian Palangos (4-1) beat 13th ranked Latvian Basketbola klase (1-3) 66-59 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Palangos forced 20 Basketbola klase turnovers and outrebounded them 42-19 including a 24-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Tadas Razgus (-6) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Adrijus Kozys (-6) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. Forward Adrians Kriekis produced 21 points and forward Pauls Ozolins added 8 points respectively for the guests. Basketbola klase's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Palangos have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Loser Basketbola klase dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost.
